Description
Body Love: The Sacred Edge of Selfish - Keeping Love Alive Through Embodied Sovereignty
Body Love is an invitation into embodied intimacy—a space for you and your beloved to explore the living dance between selfhood and connection, autonomy and devotion, personal truth and relational care.
In this workshop we will be:
Moving in contact while shuttling attention between self and other
Slowing down to access subtle presence together
Communicating inner reality through authentic movement: with and beyond words
Cultivating resonance through sharing body-based inner reality
Exploring the polarity between sovereignty and devotion
Summer is a season of emergence: warmth in the body, vitality in the air, life reaching outward toward expression, movement, and connection. In this workshop, we’ll explore what it means to stay rooted in ourselves while opening more fully to love. How do we honor our own needs, desires, boundaries, and inner reality without losing connection or with a willingness to meet rupture and repair? In other words, how do we nourish the relationship without abandoning ourselves in the process?
Together, we’ll explore the possibility that healthy “selfishness” is not the opposite of care, but one of the conditions that allows love to stay alive. A relationship can truly flourish only when both people remain connected to their own center—bringing honesty, vitality, care, and integrity into the shared field.
